The Derby Balcony Granite Base weighs 25 kg and is ideal for balconies thanks to its rectangular shape and the offset standpipe. The sunshade can be positioned very close to the balcony railing, which provides additional stability. The base can be easily adjusted using four plastic feet and practical grip recesses, without damaging the floor. It is suitable for sunshades with a diameter of up to 200 cm. The base itself is made of polished granite. The umbrella holder is 30 cm high and made of sturdy stainless steel. The delivery includes four different reducer inserts, allowing for the accommodation of umbrella poles ranging from 2.5 to 4.8 cm.
To prevent scratching the umbrella pole, the screws do not directly contact the pole when securing it; instead, they are protected by a stainless steel shield. For parasols from 32 to 60 mm tube diameter, with fixing screws. Reducing rings are included in the scope of delivery. Lower part to be fixed in the floor: min. height 40 cm, diameter 7 cm (can be closed with lid). The upper part is fixed in the lower part with a bayonet lock: Height above ground 32 cm. It is recommended to pour the ground sleeve into concrete (min. 40x40 cm large, 60 cm deep). This ground sleeve is not suitable for fastening pendulum/traffic light umbrellas!
