Hello Makita has about 200 tools that can be ordered without batteries. The batteries will then all fit the 18 volt tools.

Hello I already had a set from Makita ( drill + small cut-off saw )at home and therefore needed no battery`s and no charger . The price for jigsaw with battery and charger is significantly higher ! The batteries and the charger can be bought separately.
