The Dassault Alpha Jet is a training aircraft for advanced training and a light attack aircraft. It was developed through German-French collaboration and was introduced into service in the 1970s. Single-seat and two-seat versions (pilot and instructor) were produced. The Alpha Jet was used in France, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, and Egypt, among others. It is still in use today in France.
