The stand model is a replica of the German military motorcycle with sidecar.

At the special request of the Bundeswehr, BMW and Zundapp were commissioned in 1938 to start a joint development project that could ensure the highest number of shared components to optimize maintenance work and spare parts logistics.

The prototypes were released in 1940, and production began in early 1941. The unique feature was that the sidecar wheel was driven by an axle connected to the motorcycle's rear wheel. These were equipped with a locking differential and selectable gear ratios to optimize performance both on the road and off-road.
