The stand model is a replica of the BMW R75 motorcycle, including a sidecar. As early as 1940, a battalion consisting of 3 to 4 companies, each with 52 motorcycles with sidecars and 4 motorcycles without sidecars, was integrated into the motorized infantry and the armored division. Furthermore, motorcycles were present in almost all other units of the Wehrmacht, especially in reconnaissance units and command, as well as in pioneer and supply units. The BMW R 75, produced in 16,500 units, along with the Zündapp KS 750, formed the core of the motorized units in all theaters of operation, particularly in Africa and Russia.
