The PROFI locomotive cradle features two recesses. One allows the locomotive to be securely held upside down in the soft foam, making it easy to oil the gears and axles, for example. The slanted shelf provides space for locomotives and cars to be placed sideways or at an angle. This setup enables the cleaning of side walls, oiling of motors and piston rods, as well as performing many other maintenance tasks. The cradle is complemented by various compartments and cutouts for holding tools, aids, and small parts. An integrated magnetic sheet is designed to hold tiny screws securely.
