"Have they been drinking varnish?" How do you come to a price of CHF 1769?
If you buy it in a neighbouring country and pay customs duty, you're still around CHF 400 cheaper, depending on the country. If you take the "China" version, you almost get two smartphones for this price.
How does digitec come to this price?
I received an e-mail asking me to use the bank details on the QR code, which I did, but if you look closely at the invoice there are two different bank details, which one is correct, please check your invoices yourself to see what is printed on them. Thank you very much
This is really cheeky and as a longstanding Digitec/Galaxus customer you feel really cheated..... I wanted to buy the Moza AB9 FFB base for my simulator project. When I saw that the base was much cheaper on Galaxus.de than in Switzerland, I lost faith in fair prices at Galaxus/Digitec. The base is still cheaper at Galaxus Deutschland despite the 11% higher VAT. If you adjust for the tax, the base is 100CHF cheaper than in Switzerland. Shame on you Digitec.
I recently ordered a PC Cabinet from them. Literally first time tried to order probably will be the last time. The Cabinet came all bent from back. The mother board IO shield gap is horribly hit and bent. The PSU gap is bent from rear and also from the bottom so the cabinet doesn't even stand straight. What a horrible experience. Is there a way I can talk to them ?
What are the opening hours of the chat support? In my experience, it is available rather sporadically. The chat is by far my favourite contact option :)
Hello together
I recently got a Wingo Internet connection with 5ghz and 1gbits performance.
However, I have no reception in the office and am therefore looking for a repeater. However, it turned out that not all repeaters are compatible with the Internet Box 4 (supplied by Wingo).
Can anyone recommend a good, available repeater that is compatible with this?
Thanks and best regards
Hello Galaxus!
Recently, the invoices have been arriving earlier and earlier. Until recently, I always received the invoice after receiving the goods. Now the invoices arrive up to four days in advance. This distorts the return period. Just like the guarantee.
The invoice and the guarantees should also include the date of receipt.
Planzer is the worst delivery service of all!!! no deadline is kept, for many parcels so far. Not even a notification! I would gladly pay a surcharge if my parcels were never delivered by Planzer !!!!!
Blame me "All good things come in threes - at least with you. But your many three-star reviews are as neutral as a glass of water. Why do you always opt for the average? Dare to give a more honest assessment" goes down very, very badly.
Doubting my honesty even more. If I rate something at 3, I rate it at 3. If I rate it at 5, I rate it at 5.
So don't get me wrong!
Bye bye.
i'm looking for a new tv with which i can get the most out of my consoles and films.
i have a lg ds95tr soundbar which sits just in front of the support of my current tv (samsung QE55Q7FNA).
I'm undecided whether it should be a samsung again, possibly lg or sony?
I'm also not sure whether 55 inch or 65 inch is better (distance around 3 metres). what are your experiences?
would be happy to receive a few recommendations. thanks in advance!
Today, shortly before 9 a.m., I noticed that for all (?) digitec items that are "in stock", only "delivered the day after tomorrow" is possible - until 2.3 days ago, "next-day delivery" was virtually standard. And as of today, collection from stores would only be possible around Wohlen. Something has changed dramatically.
In recent years, up until almost yesterday, +/- everything worked much faster.
What happened there?
Hello everyone,
I ordered a PC box on Galaxus. I asked Chat for information about the delivery (no signature, they didn't know when the parcel was going to be sent, etc.). I quickly realised that the transparency wasn't up to scratch. So I cancelled my order and asked customer service (via the contact form and by email) for a refund for the box. No reply to date. Have you ever had this kind of problem with Galaxus?
Hello Galaxus
Could you create a seasonal category for Advent calendars? Small items at low prices that are suitable for target groups (men, women, children, pets, etc.)? That would be practical for all gift-givers... :-)
The guarantee runs immediately after the order is placed, but the goods are not delivered until 10 days later
When I order the goods, I know that the goods will only arrive in 10-14 days. But what I didn't know is that the guarantee starts immediately after I place the order. I have had the goods for 4 days, but my account says that I ordered them 2 weeks ago. I don't think it's OK that the warranty starts immediately after the order but the goods are only delivered later. What is your opinion on this?
I have just received my M8550 mobile router. Unfortunately, I see a seal: Opened + checked for CH Plug. Is this normal when buying via Digitec?
Would an adapter possibly be included (as written by the service employee in the chat) or would the plug be replaced?
The mobile router is intended for mobile use and I'm not thinking of Switzerland! So why this type of plug that doesn't fit anywhere else? Complete madness! Very annoying! So I will probably send it back.
Hello everyone, I'm toying with the idea of getting a foldable smartphone, but I'm still quite undecided as to which model. I've already had various Android slabphones, until recently an iPhone (for about 7 years) and now a Pixel Pro 9 XL. Which of the foldables would be best for everyday use and for photo editing (as I like to take photos and edit my pictures "on the go" (i.e. on the mobile). I'm not sure which model would suit me best here in Switzerland. Oppo Find N5, Honor Magic V5 or Samsung Z Fold 7. It also makes it a lot harder for me to decide as it feels like I can only try out the Samsung Fold Z 7 in the shops. Can someone possibly give me a test report that is not just superficial and after 1 week, but after a longer period of use? Thanks in advance :)
For some time now, I have noticed that more and more electronic products are being supplied with a German plug (type F, Schuko) instead of the plug type used in Switzerland (type J), often without any labelling on the product. This practice is impractical and annoying from the customer's point of view in several respects:
Space problem with sockets: the German plug requires significantly more space and often blocks neighbouring sockets, especially with multiple sockets.
Need for an adapter: An additional adapter is required to be able to use the devices at all. These are often bulky and impair handling.
Time-consuming replacement process: In many cases, a separate complaint has to be registered in order to obtain a suitable adapter or a plug replacement. This is cumbersome and causes unnecessary expense.
As a Swiss customer, I expect products for the local market to be delivered with the right plug. I would therefore ask you to review your internal processes and supply chains and ensure that devices are supplied with a Swiss plug as standard or at least with a suitable, high-quality adapter.
Thank you for your attention and I hope to see a rapid improvement on this point.
Kind regards
In the last few months, my orders have often only been delivered after a few days, although the shop advertised delivery the following day.
A very recent example: I ordered two smaller products at around 11:00am, both of which were in stock and both showed "delivery tomorrow". I selected the post office as my preferred delivery agent and did NOT select "slow delivery". The order still said "Delivery tomorrow". On the following day, although my order said "Delivery today", it also said "0 of 2 dispatched" and none of the products had been handed over to the post office yet, i.e. it was clear that the products would not be delivered that day. The order then arrived 2 days late.
In the meantime, if I really want to have the delivery guaranteed the next day, I have to have it delivered to a store and go and collect it.
I realise that Digitec apparently has a high volume of orders at the moment and that there may therefore be delays in delivery. But why isn't it written in the store that the delivery may not arrive for a few days? Why do they still advertise next-day delivery if this is no longer true in most cases anyway?
Have you had similar experiences with delivery times? What do you think?
It's nice that people are now trying to create some sort of justification for the huge (mis)investments in AI. But it's so incredibly annoying that I'm thinking about no longer buying here.
For every 2 "real" hits, 200+ irrelevant ones are simply mixed in, sometimes even before the actually correct hits, making it incredibly difficult to find the right product.
I've also had the case where the product was displayed in the live preview of the search and then didn't appear at all in the results
Other online shops do this much better or at least offer the option of filtering this hallucinated nonsense.
Oh and when publishing the discussion I now get "similar discussion found"... Even that doesn't fit.
But yes, maybe it helps better if you just address it as often as possible from many sides.
I'm writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with my order for a Joule Performance PC, placed recently on your site.
At the time of my purchase, the item was marked "5 pieces in stock with supplier, delivered the day after tomorrow", which was the reason for my decision to buy. I absolutely needed this machine to replace my design computer, which had broken down, so that I could continue with my current projects without interruption.
But this morning, just as the delivery was due to take place, I discovered to my great surprise and disappointment that the delivery date had been postponed without any further indication of the deadline.
No explanation, no prior communication - just this laconic mention of a 'delay', which is unacceptable for an item presented as available and delivered quickly.
I therefore request clear and immediate information on the new effective delivery date, as well as an explanation of this unjustified delay.
If the order cannot be fulfilled within a very short time, I will be forced to consider cancelling the order altogether and buying elsewhere.
Thank you for your prompt reply.
For some time now, I have been getting "extended results" when searching. In other words, lots of completely irrelevant products, especially if I enter the exact product name of a particular product. And tragically, the desired product was often missing completely and I had to search for it via the product menu with categories and filters. If I don't need any "recommendations", I don't want to receive any. Until recently, the search was only expanded if unspecific search terms were entered or no products matching the term were found.
Is this also the case for others?
Is it technically not possible to switch this off?
Dear person responsible for this decision: You should be fired. The search function for this has been made considerably worse.
For example, I searched for "10W40 Motorex" because that's exactly what I want.
The search returns 192 (!) results, most of which are irrelevant.
The first oil 10W40 is in 13th place, but is from Castrol. There is no 10W40 from Motorex among the first 48 results, although there are at least 8 suitable and available products in the shop, which I then found using the filter functions.
I hope this will be usable again at some point.
