Hello. I’ve got a huge problem. I want to disable UPNP. For those who don’t know what UPNP is: when UPNP is enabled, the modem (router) automatically opens ports. For example, for the media server. I have a Sunrise modem and have DISABLED it. However, the modem continues to open ports. So the modem is still UPNP-ENABLED. This is dangerous. It makes it easy for hackers to launch attacks or install malware. For 50 CHF a month, you’d expect Sunrise to ensure this works properly. I’ve now bought a different modem: a 5G SIM card modem. The ACER Connect X6E modem. This also opens the ports automatically, which means UPNP is also ENABLED and apparently there’s no way to DISABLE it on the ACER. That’s a problem. I’ve now tested the TP-Link Deco X50. It’s a lovely bit of kit. It has an app for configuring settings. There, I was able to DISABLE UPNP. Same problem. It’s still opening ports even though I’ve DISABLED UPNP. That’s a real shame. I’ve had enough of ordering routers that don’t work. What do you think of the Fritzbox? It says online that the Fritzbox has UPNP DISABLED by default. Has anyone here tested this? Can you recommend a 5G SIM card modem where UPNP is DISABLED by default, which doesn’t automatically open ports, and which you’ve actually tested yourselves? Best wishes... :D

I have chosen a date with morning delivery (8am-12pm) by making an appointment with Planzer. At 2pm I receive a call that the appointment cannot be kept and we have to make a new appointment. Fine, so I reschedule the appointment with the carrier for the next day (8-11am) with a 30-minute phone call in advance and deposit. Today 11.43am, on hold for 18 minutes on the phone to find out where my delivery is! Galaxus, I am otherwise really very satisfied, but what is this? In the delivery options I have selected extra post. Ok, I understand that other delivery services apply to third party products, but you could oblige the third party suppliers to stop using Planzer. Community, have you also had cases like this with Planzer and any solutions for punctual Planzer delivery? PS: Still on hold (25min) :(

Hey Digitec hey guys. I have a big request or rather question. Why does Digitec/Galaxus use Planzer Paketdienst? (I realise the price) But out of 10 consignments, maybe one arrives on time. Planzer has a rating of 1-max 2 stars on Google and Trustpilot. I'd rather pay 4-10 FR more if I know it's delivered by a good company. I've only had trouble with Planzer over the last few years. Dear Community, dear Galaxus team I would like to bring up for discussion a repeated incident in connection with parcel delivery by PLANZER - in the hope that I am not the only one who has had such experiences and that Galaxus takes its customers' feedback seriously. Yesterday evening, after dark, a parcel with damaged packaging was left directly on my freely accessible driveway without any notification and without ringing the bell. I only discovered the delivery by chance because I was walking the dog outside late at night. If that hadn't happened, the parcel would have been left there overnight - with the risk of moisture damage or theft. For me, this approach is not only unprofessional, but also simply unacceptable - especially as it is not the first incident of this kind. Especially in times when trust and reliability are crucial in online retail, the question arises for me: Is PLANZER really a good choice as a delivery service for Galaxus and its customers? I would be delighted to receive feedback from the Community: Have you had similar experiences? And to the Galaxus team: How is such feedback dealt with internally - and are there any efforts to reconsider the cooperation with certain delivery services in case of repeated problems? I’m trying to connect an antenna to my Zyxel NR2301. The Zyxel’s antenna port needs to be connected to the antenna (two SMA female cables). According to the Zyxel NR2301 product information, a TS9 male adapter is required for this. However, the TS9 plug does not fit. I then ordered a CRC 9, but that doesn’t fit either. Which plug will fit?

I’m fairly convinced I was unlucky with my first order, but I’d still like to make a brief comment on the customer service provided by this massive company. I ordered a PlayStation 5 on Friday 5 June using the ‘prepayment’ option and immediately fulfilled my duty as a consumer by paying via bank transfer. On Monday, when I logged into my account, I found my order had been cancelled and my Galaxus credit marked as ‘blocked’ – no email, no communication whatsoever. Naturally, I contacted customer service straight away and suddenly found myself in a farce: no one knew where this cancellation had come from or why my money had been blocked; the only thing the staff could tell me during the three days I contacted the site was “you’ll receive an email, but I don’t know when”. On Thursday the 11th, I finally received this elusive email informing me that the address entered as the delivery address was too long (my mistake), but that this could be sorted out very easily; after the email, my credit was magically unblocked.My money was blocked, and I can assure you it wasn’t a small amount, with no explanation whatsoever for four days. I work in retail myself and have had customers who’ve made a scene over far less. My honest feedback for you is to train your customer service team; it’s not acceptable for the staff to pass every single query up to ‘higher-ups’ – you’re paying employees to act as secretaries under the guise of ‘customer service’.

Hello Digitec - this is the second time that Planzer has deposited a (valuable) Digitec/Galaxus parcel on my doorstep (in Kleinbasel) and then confirmed the deposit by e-mail "deposited according to your instructions". 1. i did not provide any details 2. we were at home (especially because of the upcoming delivery) and the doorbell wasn't even rung This is the second time (both times a laptop). I would ask you to have a serious word with your logistics partner in the interests of your customers, or to use the postal service again, which is much more professional and reliable. For some time now, I have noticed that more and more electronic products are being supplied with a German plug (type F, Schuko) instead of the plug type used in Switzerland (type J), often without any labelling on the product. This practice is impractical and annoying from the customer's point of view in several respects: Space problem with sockets: the German plug requires significantly more space and often blocks neighbouring sockets, especially with multiple sockets. Need for an adapter: An additional adapter is required to be able to use the devices at all. These are often bulky and impair handling. Time-consuming replacement process: In many cases, a separate complaint has to be registered in order to obtain a suitable adapter or a plug replacement. This is cumbersome and causes unnecessary expense. As a Swiss customer, I expect products for the local market to be delivered with the right plug. I would therefore ask you to review your internal processes and supply chains and ensure that devices are supplied with a Swiss plug as standard or at least with a suitable, high-quality adapter. What does delayed delivery mean? The product was in stock and was described as being delivered the next day. Been waiting for a week. Even Amazon was quicker to receive after 3 days from DE. Also China was faster after 5days received.

Three items from my order were delivered on different days. I never received two other items from the same order, but I did receive a notification that my return had been processed. The automated email stated that the address was incorrect. Now I’m left to sort this out and have to find a way to get the goods I need from somewhere else! In short: poor service :-( As a customer, I’m dissatisfied!

I've been a customer of Digitec/Galaxus for many years and used to consider them one of the most reliable online retailers in Switzerland. However, over the past year or so, my experience has become increasingly frustrating. More than half of my recent orders have been shipped or delivered later than the advertised delivery date. While occasional delays are understandable, it has become common enough that I no longer trust the delivery estimates shown when ordering. I've also had several cases where the wrong product was shipped, which meant spending additional time dealing with returns and reordering, or products also arrived damaged due to the bad handling of the delivery services. What frustrates me most is that these problems are no longer isolated incidents. Delays, incorrect shipments, and other fulfillment issues seem to occur far more frequently than they did a few years ago. The overall experience feels noticeably less reliable than it used to be. I'm curious whether others have noticed the same trend recently or whether I've simply had a streak of bad luck. Has anyone else experienced a decline in service quality from Digitec/Galaxus over the past year?

When I ordered a garden cupboard, only 1 out of 2 boxes was delivered. Making a complaint is almost impossible with that useless assistant. It took a lot of effort just to get through to customer service directly. You can’t properly report the problem. ‘Lost’ – yes, but only one part; ‘resend’ – yes, but only one part; can’t write a comment about it. What terrible service. It’s difficult to put this across correctly – almost impossible. It’s a shame there’s no phone number, as professional companies have. It’s a shame what this company used to be.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank DIGITEC for their quick and accommodating handling of any issues. Today I received a USB stick in the post which apparently had a (technical) fault. I described the problem to Digitec, as it couldn’t be resolved in any way (on various PCs and Macs). Within two minutes of submitting the form, the amount was credited to my account via TWINT. NO ifs or buts. Even though the item cost no more than 15 francs: it was sorted out QUICKLY, EASILY AND GENEROUSLY. I’ve had this experience with Digitec before when dealing with previous issues. Well, you can and should only review products that you’ve bought yourself. That makes perfect sense and is the right approach. So you’re only reviewing your own experience. I think that’s really good.

It’s just a shame – you order a product because Digitec says it’ll be delivered by Day X at the latest. It would have been perfect, as I was due to head abroad the very next day with the product for a film shoot. Digitec also did everything by the book according to their own tracking function – the item was packed, dispatched and the Planzer tracking link generated within hours. Then Day X arrives… Nothing! On the Planzer tracking page, delivery on Day X is confirmed and the parcel has been in transit for 24 hours. On the day of departure, you then make a chargeable call to Planzer and the lady on the phone says, “The delivery hasn’t even been scheduled yet”… What on earth is all this nonsense?! I realise that, if everything really did go according to plan on Digitec’s end, this isn’t even remotely Galaxus’s fault. I have personal experience in the logistics department of one of Switzerland’s largest music retailers. That’s all well and good; I know customers can be a nuisance, and once the parcel is with a third-party delivery company, you’ve no control over it. I’m not blaming Galaxus for that either. But I know from the forum that I’m not the first person to have problems with this Planzer lot… And I really do wonder why a market leader like Digitec continues to work with Planzer. Because this means I simply can’t rely on Galaxus and its delivery dates any more, which is a real shame. As much as I hate to turn to Amazon, in the end I’ll probably have to do just that in future, because with the two or three orders I’ve placed there so far, the delivery dates were spot on EVERY TIME… even at very short notice.

After ordering a product, testing it for several days and being disappointed with it, I decided to return it. No sooner said than done. Afterwards, I realised that I had no way of reviewing the returned product; this was ultimately confirmed by customer support, although the support representative initially assumed that returned products could be reviewed. Hi, I’ve just realised: my product ratings have been deleted! I’ve been asked to review some of them again. What’s the point? Take FiiO headphones, for example, or lots of books, etc. All my reviews were 5-star, so no complaints. Well, why should I bother any more? So I won’t be writing any more reviews. And I probably won’t be ordering anything else either.

Do you have any suggestions for smartphones that have a good camera, are still reasonably up-to-date, and either don’t rely on Google services or only use them to a limited extent? The topic of data privacy has become important for me recently. Alternative operating systems are also welcome... I want to disclose as little personal data as possible and am currently concerned that a lot of data is being passed on to companies over which I have no control.

The stated delivery times are not adhered to and Galaxus does not change this either. I have several open orders where the delivery time is delayed. The order says delivery the next day, but in reality it's 3 days or longer :( It's not dramatic, but giving unrealistic delivery times just to generate more orders is not right. Then write on sale: "Delivery in 3 to 6 days" and not: "Delivery tomorrow" do you see it differently?

Hello, I ordered an Asus GX10. The order was cancelled by Galaxus (despite the payment having been taken). The reason given for the cancellation is that this order apparently poses a security risk, and Galaxus is unable to tell me why. According to the email from the useless customer service team: “We have reviewed your enquiry regarding your cancelled order. As part of an internal security check, your order was flagged as a risk by the system and has therefore been cancelled. In this context, however, we were unable to proceed with processing this order. For commercial and security reasons, we are unfortunately unable to provide you with further information on the exact circumstances.” Can anyone shed some light on this load of nonsense?

That's a cheek and it's also impossible to find a customer complaints contact on the homepage. Service 0 points, honesty 0 points, so I can order directly in Asia and save myself the CH prices. It will be here in 1 week.
