GoPro presents the Hero 6 with dual frame rate performance. We've already got it in stock!
The new GoPro Hero 6 action camera is out and available now from digitec. Like all GoPro cameras, the small, lightweight camera is perfect for sport and other sensations from motocross to skydiving to surfing. With the help of various accessories, it can be attached almost anywhere with stability.
What's new
More performance: the Hero 6 is equipped with a new chip which, according to the manufacturer, stabilises videos better and delivers twice the performance. That is to say, in 4K 60 frames per second instead of 30 are available, and fast movements should be sharper. The frame rate is doubled even for lower resolutions, as with Full HD for example. It increases from 120 to 240 frames per second.
Automatic video editing: video editing is notoriously tedious and sometimes a pain. The GoPro Hero 6 automatically transfers your data to your smartphone and turns it into a fully edited video. To do this, two apps available on iOS and Android are required.
The GoPro understands you
The GoPro Hero 6 features voice control. Which is handy knowing that cameras have, due to their small size, only a few control elements or hard-to-reach buttons.
With three built-in microphones and advanced wind noise reduction, the new action cameras should also be able to deliver good sound in difficult outdoor conditions.
And then there are the usual features like WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS, waterproofing up to 10 metres, slow-motion shooting and RAW format photos.
Accessories
GoPro offers a range of accessories for its action cameras. The new Hero 6 is compatible with more than 30 new and pre-existing accessories. In addition to the camera, battery, case and USB C cable, a curved and flat adhesive mount and a mounting loop are already included in the delivery. The "Bite Mount" mouth mount is ideal for all those first-person video recordings where you need your hands free. Thanks to the clearly visible floating body ("Floaty"), it also works in the water. For surfing, SUP, travelling, making music, etc. Please note that this accessory is available in two different versions. The following version is compatible with the GoPro Hero 6:
The Shorty accessory - a combination of a tripod and a mini extendable pole - is new. Shorty measures 11.7cm and can be used for taking group photos, selfies and more, and can be extended up to 22.7cm.
"The Handler 2.0" is a handle for aquatic shots. It holds the GoPro on the surface of the water and provides the necessary stability and control.
And another grip: the GoPro Karma Grip stabilises shots taken in the hand or when the camera is attached to the body.
From the grip, you can directly turn the camera on or off, change modes, start and stop shooting.
