Hello, a few years ago I built a good internal WLAN network at home with Ubiquiti UAP-LR3. Internally, I have some network holes in the cellar and in the hobby room, which I would like to close. Now I've also bought Eufy outdoor cameras and realised that I need a better Wi-Fi network in the garden. I would like to stay with Ubiquity, but I am overwhelmed by the variety of products. How can I solve my two problems? Thanks for your tips. Greetings

Hello everyone Which Ubiquiti AP has the best receive and transmit performance? I am looking for a PoE AP for the basement (apartment block) (now have all Ubiquiti products). A LAN connection exists and is connected to a PoE switch. I would now like to have reception as far as possible. Which Ubiquiti AP has this feature? Thank you very much!

I am looking for an access point that combines the following features: - The access point is connected to the network with a LAN cable. - Access point offers WLAN, which I can switch on/off with a switch. - Access point offers LAN cable slots for additional devices. Can you recommend a product that combines these features? It seems that there are no access points that allow you to switch the WLAN on/off using a switch. Thank you.

Digitec urgently needs to make improvements here. A large number of devices do not appear in this category for access points, but under "WLAN repeaters". All devices that can function as both extenders and access points are listed there. The "Access Point" category, on the other hand, lacks numerous combination devices with an access point function.

Good evening A question from a layman: Could someone recommend a wireless acsess point (that's what they call them, right?) that connects with a normal network cable and is not too strong? It is only used in a Tiny House with 10 square meters area. Application: Maximum 2 people with the applications: Mail, Netflix, Youtube. Thanks :-) Michael

Is there an access point for the common UPC Connect Box? Background: I would like to strengthen the WLAN on the first floor and use the existing Ethernet line from the ground floor to the first floor. A WLAN repeater would only be the 2nd best solution from my point of view. When I search here for an access point and then read the instructions for use, I am unsure whether this would also work. Who has experience and a good idea?

Is there an AP that can also serve as a DHCP server? I have tried two APs and unfortunately they could not do this. A wifi router would work of course but I would like to use our POE...

If you deactivate certain functions (NAT, firewall, ...) on a WiFi router, you can use it as an AP. Why are these multifunction devices much cheaper than a dedicated AP with only a fraction of the functions of a WiFi router?

Can I also use the new Asus AiMesh function for uninterrupted WLAN with Asus access points or repeaters such as ASUS RP-AC68U? Or does it only work with Asus routers? I find the current Asus routers quite ugly and futuristic and all the other mesh products look like some kind of designer pieces. I'm more a fan of simple shapes and edges like the RP-AC68U or the EA-AC87... Has anyone had any experience with the Tenda nova MW6 Home Mesh WiFi System?

I am looking for a Wifi antenna that I can power via PoE. Like Tp-link EAP 225 but without the need to plug into an electrical outlet to bring power to it.

I need help. My portable mobile hotspot device with a Salt 4g connection is lately terrible with the internet speed (0.09 mbps)! Will a wifi extender work to boost the signal and increase the speed?

We have 3 different routers at home so far and therefore 3 wifi networks. However, the problem is that when you come into the house and connect to one of them, the connection practically always stays there, even though the 2nd or 3rd network would be better at this point. Which "complete" product would be suitable to cover the whole house with wifi?

Hello everyone As a UPC customer, we have the new Connect Box. We now need a wifi amplifier. Which device would you recommend in connection with the Connect Box? Thank you in advance for your help.

Dear Community. May I ask for your help with the following project? I have rented a hobby room in the building opposite. The hobby room is about 150m. away and there is an unobstructed view from the flat balcony and a wall to overcome from the balcony. How do I get my Wi-Fi signal up to this hobby room? I have Salt Fiber at home. Thanks in advance. Greetings

Do I really need a device from the provider (e.g. Sunrise) or can I use any access point alone that I buy separately? I don't want to operate two devices.

Hello everyone, is there actually a device that I can set up a hotspot with my mobile phone so that it is then available as a WLAN for other devices such as a printer and laptop? The question arises because I would like to have both the printer and the laptop on the network at the same time. At the moment I can only connect the laptop to either the hotspot OR the printer. Thank you for your feedback.

Hi, I would like to find a device that can connect to wifi via lan. I bought the NetGear Ex2700, but it was a big mistake. At first I thought I could connect the device with a LAN and then set up a wifi connection in my cellar. In my basement it has no reception from outside but has cables to the basement. Is there a device that is designed to connect to a LAN and thus establish a wifi connection? I would be happy if someone could answer this question for me. Have a nice day and kind regards.
