Connect an external USB hard drive and USB printer to the Ethernet

For example, can I connect a docking station to the Ethernet and then make devices network-compatible via its USB ports or do I have to buy another device for this? For example, a USB hub with several slots and an Ethernet connection with its own power supply?

    DSL cable

I am looking for a long 10 metre DSL cable for my Sunrise Internet Box. The cable is connected at one end to the router and at the other end via a 4-POL M/RJ45F adapter to the telephone socket. As far as I know, it should be an RJ11 and RJ45 plug. However, I cannot find what I am looking for?

    Improve router

Hello I have a router that is connected to the network via LTE radio. Unfortunately, the signal inside the flat is not too strong. I was wondering if it would make a difference if I put an antenna outside. According to my phone, the signal outside is much stronger. Can you recommend a product for this? Can I connect it directly to the router? Do I have to buy other devices besides the antenna? Thank you in advance for your help.

    Replace DSL with 4G modem

Hello, We have cancelled our UPC subscription and now want to set up a network at home using a data SIM card. We have both wired (RJ45 network plugs for NAS, PC, Mediabox, PS 3 etc.) devices as well as many W-LAN devices. Can anyone recommend a router / modem for use with only a SIM card at home?

LAN to WLAN - which solutions are the best?

Hello everyone I have a Swisscom Box 2, which is in my Multimedia Box. This then distributes the Ethernet connections to the various rooms. To strengthen the WLAN I need the Swisscom repeater, but the signal is very weak and unstable. I wonder if there is a solution to connect something in one room (via LAN or Ethernet) which then generates a WLAN signal and with which I can then replace the repeaters? I am grateful for any tips and tricks. Regards, Gekko

    SFF Noir Antenna

Could Digitec perhaps include the SFF Noir antenna in its range? Thanks to its size, this antenna would be great for SFF PCs - but also others if you don't want a huge WLAN antenna. I could only find it on Amazon under the ASIN B08NCDJ33N.

Question about LTE signal amplifier (outdoor antenna): How much amplification is necessary?

Good day I have about 2-3 reception bars for 4G in the building with Swisscom. It barely works for making calls, but only when I'm not walking around. For surfing already very slow and some streaming does not work at all. I want to buy an outdoor antenna to at least get better internet reception with a 4G router. How strong does the gain need to be if I want to notice anything? There are antennas that amplify 2 dbi and those that amplify 10 dbi. I have no idea how much that is. Merci.

Fibre optic connection, does it work?

Hello, I have on one side a Moxa IKS-6728A Series with a SFP-1GLXLC compatible 1.25Gbit/s singlemode 10km 1310nm SFP transceiver. Can I use this one on the opposite side: https://www.digitec.ch/de... I realise that I would not get the full performance. It is also for testing purposes only. Thanks a lot

Boost 4G reception in the building.

Good day I recently started working in a building where the 4G reception is very poor. Outside the window, however, it is fine. Since I use a 4g router for internal calls and also make calls to customers in the building, I would like to know how I can direct the good reception from outside into the building. Thank you.

    RJ45 to RJ45 wall socket

I would like to use the existing cable ducts in our house to pull Ethernet cables into the rooms. I am looking for a wall box with RJ45 connections (at least Cat6a), but also an RJ45 connection on the back so that I can pull patch cables through the cable ducts. Is there anything like this?
