Dolby Atmos for PC games and Netflix/AppleTV on the PC

I'm slowly going mad and need a tip. I would like a soundbar for my new office. I know that the sound is not optimal but I don't want to lay cables. As far as I know, optical connections only support 5.1 and not Dolby Atmos. So the whole thing almost has to go via HDMI and the soundbar has to support HDMI passthrough. I have an ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER OC and an ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM and I still want my 240 Hz when working via HDMI. What can you recommend? Do I have a loss with the passthrough or are there other ways to connect the soundbar?

    PC loudspeaker for height-adjustable table

I got a height-adjustable table second-hand from work and wanted to ask you if there is a sound system that is simply wired? My current Logitech Z263 has a thick cable (VGA?) and a thin one for the left speaker. I don't know if it is possible to extend this VGA connection.

    In search

Hello :) I'm actually looking at the Logitech speaker system z906, but since these are relatively expensive for my budget and I actually need such a system soon, I wanted to ask here what could be recommended to me :) I use my PC mainly for gaming, working on it, listening to music etc.. But I would like to have a system with good quality and maybe even a controller. If it costs under 200 francs all the better. Thanks a lot for your help!

    Dolby Atmos on the PC

Hello Community I am looking for a successor to my Logitech Z906. I have been using this system for a good 5 years now and was very satisfied and it still runs flawlessly. At the moment, I have connected my PC and PS4 Pro to the system via an optical connection, but since the PS5 (which I'm still waiting for, thanks to Digitec) doesn't have an optical connection, I'd have to connect an audio splitter (e.g. Delock HDMI Audio 5.1 Extractor) in between and I don't know whether I'll still be able to benefit from 4k and 120Hz on my monitor (ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ). I have already done some research and came across the Focal SIB EVO 5.1.2. These would be ideal in terms of size, as I don't have too much space. But I would need a Dolby Atmos receiver which ideally already supports HDMI 2.1 and again takes up a lot of space. Unfortunately, I don't have the space for a sound bar. In short, I'm looking for a successor, preferably a self-contained system with similar dimensions and, if possible, with Dolby Atmos. Maybe something like this will be presented at CES 2021.

    2.1 System with USB connection?

Hello all, I'm currently using the Logitech S150 speakers and am now looking for a 2.1 sound system that I can also connect via USB, as I don't have any other connections on this PC and don't want to upgrade anything there. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, I'd like to spend up to about 100 Fr. Is there anything like this? Thanks for any tips!

Razer Leviathan, Razer Chroma Nommo, Logitech G560 or simply the Logitech Z333 speakers.

Hey again, as is so often the case, I can't decide which speakers/soundbar to buy. I am wavering between these 4 models - Razer Chroma Nommo (Chroma Lights, no subwoofer) - Razer Leviathan (surround sound, 5.1 system, 1 module) - Logitech G560 (Lightsync, problems with software) - Logitech Z333 (Simple and cheap and good reviews) Has anyone done any comparisons and tested 2 or more? Or what would you most likely buy if it's mainly for gaming, music and video editing?

    Teufel Concept C

Would it be possible to integrate the Teufel Concept C into the portfolio at Digitec? If not, what alternatives are there to this speaker (2.1 channel)?

    USB Sorting criterion

Hello Digitec Team, It would be really useful if you could search for USB speakers. Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment because USB is missing from "Connections". Because I don't feel like calling up every speaker set, clicking on "Show more" under "Specification" and scrolling down to see whether USN is listed under "Connections" or not. I find that a bit cumbersome. Thank you very much!

Inexpensive PC speakers with USB sound output

I am looking for PC speakers that do not require a 3.5mm connector, i.e. which transmit both power and signal via a USB connection. Unfortunately, my previous speakers have given up the ghost and, as far as I know, are no longer being produced. https://www.lacie.com/files... Can anyone help me with the search? Many thanks

    No sound in certain games

Good evening dear Digitec Comunity:) I put together my first gaming PC a week ago. Everything is running well so far. But today I encountered the following problem: I connected a Logitech sound system to the PC via a 3.5mm jack. I played a bit of The Witcher 3, sound etc. everything was great. Windows system sounds, YouTube videos etc. also sound through the sound system. However, when I tried to play a few rounds of Battlefront, there was no sound at all. I then tried various other games (Escape from Tarkov, Battlefield 4): all no sound. The games I play via Steam all have sound, but those from Origin or other providers do not. But if I select the monitor as the audio source, I have sound in all games. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? The drivers are all up to date. Graphics card: MSI Geforce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G, connected via DisplayPort. Monitor: AOC Agon AG241QG Many thanks in advance for your answers:)
