The NetBotz 250 from APC by Schneider Electric is a cost-effective environmental monitoring appliance for all IT environments. It protects your computing equipment from physical threats such as high temperatures, humidity, liquid damage, and malicious and accidental access events. With native support for NetBotz wireless sensors, the NetBotz 250 enables rapid deployment of your environmental monitoring solution. With its low-profile 19-inch form factor, the NetBotz 250 can be rack-mounted next to your other IT equipment or rear-mounted in a Zero-U unit. The unit has six built-in ports for connecting various wired NetBotz sensors, including temperature. Sensors to detect temperature/humidity, smoke, and point fluid, as well as third-party sensors via a dry contact cable. Other dedicated connections include a beacon port, voltage output, relay output, and Modbus connections for monitoring the device via Modbus RTU or TCP. Thresholds, alerts, and notifications are configured either through the NetBotz 250 web user interface or through StruxureWare Data Center Expert. Data Center Expert integration is especially useful when you need to manage multiple NetBotz Appliances from a single pane of glass.
