The NetShelter SX is a line of network enclosures within APC's outstanding rack enclosure family, designed to provide enhanced support for high-density applications. Integrated high-density cable management and the top cover plate offer cable protection and routing. Flexible plastic dividers allow for gentle cable management.

High-density cable management is facilitated by the open design of the vertical mounting rails, which improve cable access. Large openings in the top cover plate make it easier to route cables in and out of the enclosure.

The improved cable access enhances efficiency in securing and organizing large cable bundles through open vertical mounting rails and large cable openings in the top cover plate. The integrated high-density cable management reduces installation times and meets the cabling requirements of large network switches.

The optimized enclosure design for side airflow includes airflow management panels, a left-side vertical mounting rail, and a side airflow duct kit, ensuring proper side airflow to the network switches from the cold aisle while protecting against the recirculation of warm air back into the cold aisle. The left-front mounting rail supports the separation of incoming air from heated exhaust air from the network switches.
