APC Switched Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) enable comprehensive control of power supply to systems and active monitoring. The remote-controlled outlets allow for powering on and off for reboot processes and prevent unauthorized use of individual outlets. Adjustable delays enable a user-defined sequence for turning connected systems on and off. Additionally, overloads in circuits can be managed by selectively shutting down consumers and extending the operational duration of critical systems through prioritization in load distribution. Real-time remote monitoring of connected loads is made possible through power measurements. Switched Rack PDUs allow for real-time power monitoring and feature a port for temperature and humidity sensors, as well as lockable IEC outlets. User-defined alarms alert to potential circuit overloads before critical IT systems fail. Access to, as well as configuration and control of, Switched Rack PDUs is possible through secure web, SNMP, or Telnet interfaces. These are complemented by APC Centralized Management platforms that utilize InfraStruxure Central, Capacity Manager, and Change Manager.
