Extend Runtime
By connecting one or more external battery packs from the APC Smart-UPS On-Line SRT to the corresponding APC Smart-UPS On-Line SRT, you can easily increase the number of minutes that the APC UPS can provide backup power independently. In fact, several hours of runtime are possible.

Extend Lifespan
The SRT96RMBP contains two internal battery cartridges that can be easily, safely, and independently replaced by the user. This can be done without disconnecting the SRT96RMBP or turning off the associated APC SRT UPS and/or connected devices. This way, you can easily and cost-effectively extend the lifespan of the external APC battery pack, keeping your devices online at all times.

Easy to Use
You can use an external battery pack with the APC Smart-UPS On-Line SRT. The included plug can be easily connected to the UPS or another SRT96RMBP.
