The patch panel is one of the basic elements used for structural cabling. It is installed in 19" rack rails. The screws used for assembly are the same as for active devices. The task of the patch panel is to terminate the cables coming down to the distribution cabinet.
The RJ45 cat 5e FTP patch panel ports connect to the active device using patch cords of appropriate category and design to maintain the appropriate connection standard. The cable is connected to the patch panel with a crimping tool compatible with Krone.
