The Extralink Gigabit PoE Switch is a practical power supply switch that combines a compact, high-efficiency 8-port 10/100/1000 Mbps switch with 7 PoE ports. It uses an external power supply ranging from 18VDC to 57VDC. All 7 PoE Ethernet ports can provide 30W of power and enable data transmission of 10/100/1000M over standard Cat 5, 5e, or 6 cables.

The Extralink Gigabit PoE Switch allows for the transmission of data and power over a single Ethernet twisted-pair cable to connected devices. It functions as Power Source Equipment (PSE) and is fully compatible with Powered Devices (PD) that adhere to the passive PoE standard. This enables users to connect any PoE-compliant device, such as wireless access points, VoIP phones, IP cameras, printers, and network-attached storage devices, to the PoE switch without the need for additional power supplies.

This device has been designed with home and small business users in mind, offering a cost-effective solution for environments where AC power is unavailable or too expensive to install.
