The FRITZ!Box 5690 is the new high-end model designed for direct use with fiber optic connections. With innovative Wi-Fi 7, it achieves data rates of up to 5760 MBit/s - ideal for demanding broadband applications. A 2.5 Gigabit WAN port, a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port, and two additional Gigabit LAN ports provide maximum connectivity options. Additionally, the FRITZ!Box 5690 excels in comfortable telephony, intelligent security features, and extensive smart home capabilities via DECT ULE, all powered by a robust FRITZ!OS.
The FRITZ!Box 5690 connects directly to the fiber optic cable at the outlet - no separate modem is required. It supports the common European standards GPON and AON and can be easily set up in just a few steps through the user interface. Furthermore, the FRITZ!Box can also be flexibly connected to a fiber optic modem (ONT).
With Wi-Fi 7, the FRITZ!Box 5690 delivers ultra-fast wireless internet.
