The WLAN Mesh creates an intelligent WLAN system for your home network. The device is equipped with FRITZ!OS, which includes a media server, NAS, and MyFRITZ!. It is a WLAN router with automatic updates and an integrated modem that is compatible with all DSL connections, including major providers.

The router supports VDSL connections of up to 300 MBit/s and ADSL2+. It can also operate with fiber optics, cable modems, and mobile sticks. Connection options include 1 x 2.5 Gigabit WAN/LAN, 1 x 2.5 Gigabit LAN, and 2 x Gigabit LAN. The telephone system supports IP-based connections, with an integrated DECT base for up to 6 cordless phones and connections for up to 2 analog phones, fax, or answering machines. You can manage phone book contacts locally or online through services like Google, Apple, and Telekom. Smart home functions for power, heat, and light are available via DECT ULE and Zigbee. There is 1 x USB for printers and network storage (USB 2.0). FRITZ!NAS provides shared storage for all data in the home network, while the media server distributes music, images, and movies throughout the home network (DLNA/UPnP AV). It also supports online storage, internet radio, and podcasts.
