Cat. 8.1 patch cables are designed for 25/40GBASE-T applications, offering a transmission range of up to 30 meters and a transmission frequency of up to 2 GHz, which is four times the bandwidth of Cat. 6A. These cables are suitable for 25/40G Base-T Ethernet networks (40 Gigabit capable) and are backward compatible with Cat 8 Channel Link. Each cable is 100% tested and includes an attached test report as well as a serial number. The maximum bandwidth is 2000 MHz (2 GHz). The new RJ45 Cat. 8 connector meets industry standards and features 50µ gold-plated contact surfaces (pins). The shielded RJ45 connector includes a snap-in nose and a protection for the snap-in nose. The double-shielded LAN/network cable provides pair shielding (PIMF - pairs in metal foil) and overall shielding (braid). A length indication is present on the slim bend protection sleeve.
