The iRig PRE is the first high-quality microphone preamp specifically designed for iOS devices, enabling musicians to use their favorite microphones for stage or studio with their iOS device. You simply connect your favorite microphone directly to the standard XLR input of the iRig PRE without needing additional cables or adapters.

The adjustable gain control allows the user to easily make precise level adjustments. The built-in 9V battery provides the necessary power for phantom-powered studio condenser microphones, enabling up to 15 hours of continuous operation. The 3.5 mm (1/8") standard stereo headphone output allows for monitoring during recording, and the lightweight housing features a convenient cable for connecting to an iOS device. The iRig PRE also includes a Velcro strip slot for easy mounting on a microphone stand or other stage positions.
