Thanks to support for the IEEE802.3af / IEEE802.3at protocol, it provides up to 30 watts of power to compatible devices.

Flexibility in Cabling
Due to its compact design, this converter can be used in desktop applications with limited space as well as in wall-mounted enclosures. Multiple converters can also be installed in an Intellinet 19" media converter chassis.
