The device is compatible with KNX Data Secure, which provides protection against manipulation in building automation. A dedicated application is required for secure operation.

Intended use:
Connecting KNX devices to a PC or other data processing devices via IP. Operation as a KNX area/line coupler or data interface. Mounting on a DIN rail according to DIN EN 60715 in a sub-distribution board.

KNXnet/IP routing for communication between KNX lines, areas, and systems over the IP network. KNX Data Secure compatible from ETS 5.7.3. KNX IP Secure compatible from ETS 5.7.3. Telegram forwarding and filtering by physical address or group address. Maximum 48 telegrams per second in IP Secure mode. LED indicators for KNX communication, Ethernet communication, and programming mode. Configuration via ETS, Telnet, or a separate software tool. Buffered SNTP server. Commissioning with display support. Maximum 8 connections to IP end devices, for simultaneous visualization and configuration. Failure notification of the KNX system to the IP system. Galvanic isolation between KNX and IP network. Power consumption maximum 1 W.
