The GEU-1621 supports IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet with power-saving features, without compromising performance. The switch automatically enters sleep mode when no further link activity is detected, thereby saving energy.

The switch supports the Nway auto-negotiation protocol and automatically detects network speeds (10/100/1000 Mbps) and duplex modes (full/half). The auto-MDI/MDI-X feature eliminates the need for crossover cables. LED indicators provide easy status monitoring of the ports and switch information.
