LWL (fibre optic cable)
While a conventional signal in a copper cable is subject to electrical interference, optical cables work faultlessly even under the most difficult conditions. In addition, fibre optic cables do not affect electronics. Due to the low attenuation of optical cables, distances of up to 550 metres can be bridged.

Multimode with fibre thickness 50/125 µm
Certain systems require higher data rates. With conventional multimode fibres, data throughputs of up to 10 Gbps can be achieved, but only over a length of up to 84 metres. The runtime differences that exist with multimode fibres have been minimised with OM3 fibres by means of special processes in the core area. This makes transmission distances of up to 300 metres possible.

LC connector
The LC connector is a high-performance fibre optic connector for singlemode and multimode applications and impresses with an insertion loss of just 0.1 dB and a return loss of 55 dB. The design of the LC connector is based on a single fibre ceramic ferrule with a diameter of 1.25 mm for an optical fibre.

SC connector
Duplex SC connectors are standard connectors for fibre optic cabling. They have an automatic locking mechanism and anti-twist protection. Their use is recommended for new installations of computer networks with fibre optic technology. The connector is suitable for single-mode fibres and multimode fibres. It can be used to create simplex, duplex and multiple connections.
