Although these patch cables are only manufactured for Category 5e, Wirewin also uses 100% copper cables here. Applications for Category 5e cables include all Class D services, such as voice, multimedia, and data transmission, as well as ATM networks. The shielding of the wires is achieved through a foil overall shield. Additionally, the cable features a special strain relief and a halogen-free jacket that is highly flame-resistant.
