The cable features gold-plated connectors with strain relief. Halogen-free cables are difficult to ignite and minimize smoke generation, as the dangerous release of halogen-containing combustion gases is excluded.

Screened Foiled Twisted Pair (S/FTP) refers to cables that have a metallic shield around each pair of wires (FTP) and an additional overall metallic shield (S). Shielded cables exhibit minimal impedance or reactance deviations compared to unshielded ones. The transmission parameters remain relatively constant and are better than those of UTP cables, even at high frequencies.

Category 6/6a/6e cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and are commonly used in professional settings.
