The LIGHT patch cables from the SLIM® brand provide a solution for various cabling issues. Although visually similar to a standard copper patch cable, the LIGHT patch cables meet Category 6 specifications, making them suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T applications, including Gigabit Ethernet. Remarkably, three LIGHT patch cables have the diameter of a single standard CAT6 patch cable. Despite their extremely thin design, the cable features twisted pairs. Additionally, it has a wide, flexible strain relief and a practical length print on both ends, supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE according to IEEE802.3af).

Application: Typical applications for LIGHT patch cables include:

• Overcrowded server or network cabinets or cable ducts
• Telephone panels or switches with high port densities: Very short cables can be patched easily from switch to switch or switch to panel without a cable management panel
