Product details

Applications for Category 6 cables include voice, multimedia, and data transmission, as well as ATM networks. The conductors are made of 100% copper and are unshielded, and the cable features bend protection. The outer sheath is made from halogen-free materials and is highly flame-resistant. The UTP cable consists of a plastic sheath containing unshielded, twisted pairs of wires. Due to the lack of shielding, UTP cables have a small outer diameter, making them easy to handle and install. The bend protection sleeves, designed to be particularly slim, allow for comfortable cabling even with larger switches that have 48 ports or more.
