The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension uses active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.0 device by 10 meters. It supports data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s. The USB 3.0 Active Extension features a Type A USB plug and a Type A USB socket, allowing for the connection and flexible positioning of Type A USB devices such as storage media or webcams at a greater distance from PCs, laptops, and tablets. Up to 2 active extensions can be connected in series for a total distance of 20 meters. The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension is compatible with computers that have a Type A USB port. It supports Plug & Play and can be quickly and easily connected, making it ideal for both professional and less experienced users. The USB Active Extension also includes a DC socket for connecting a power supply (not included) for devices with high power requirements.
