Product details

Bridges USB distances up to 8 m, and in combination with additional segments up to 18 m, and in some cases, depending on the system environment (PCB, controller, etc.), up to 38 m. A maximum of 4 active extensions can be used between the USB host (computer) and the USB device. SuperSpeed USB 3.0 data transfer, backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1/1.0. Plug & Play – drivers are included in the operating system. The USB Type A socket features a hook mechanism to prevent the unintended removal of USB plugs from additional extension segments. Therefore, only USB cables or correspondingly slim USB devices can be directly plugged into this socket.
