LogiLink's "Break-Away Adapter" is a connection for all commercially available patch cables that releases at a certain tensile force before expensive network equipment is damaged. The "Break-Away Adapter" can thus protect mobile and also permanently installed devices and installations from damage. The RJ45 socket of the adapter has a release force that is below the standard values. This means that torn-out contacts or sockets can be avoided without compromising transmission quality. LogiLink's new "Break-Away Adapter" can be integrated into existing cabling structures without much effort, for example by inserting it between the junction box and the patch cable.
