Cat.7 Raw Cable: More Data Through the Line

The Cat.7 network cable is essentially an upgrade to the Cat.6A patch cable. The Cat.6A network cable is equipped with a Cat.7 raw cable from EFB-Electronics. This allows it to support an operating frequency of up to 600 MHz and a transmission speed of up to 10 Gbit/s. In contrast, the Cat.6A raw cable has an operating frequency of 500 MHz. With the increased frequency, the Cat.7 patch cable with Cat.6A connectors can handle significantly more data traffic. Additional safety is provided by the halogen-free outer sheath of the Cat.7 cable. The patch cables are produced with a Cat.7 raw cable to ensure the highest possible performance. They are perfect for use in fast networks and for connecting routers, switches, lighting systems, digital displays, computers, or one of the many new IoT devices. The Cat.7 network cable shows its optimal strength when used in conjunction with the EFB-Electronics data socket, the EFB-Electronics patch panel, and the EFB-Electronics keystone. These products can easily meet the high standards of the high-speed environment that the use of Cat.7 network cables entails. Cat.7 cables are used, among other things, in professional IT networks and in media technology, where large amounts of data need to be transmitted reliably.

Contact assignment

The contact assignment provides information on how the network cable can be used. An uncrossed cable can be used to connect terminals to the network, while a crossed cable can be used to connect two terminals.
