The Cat.8.1 LAN cables are perfect for use in high-speed networks and for connecting routers, switches, servers, patch panels, and more. To fully utilize the capacity, other components in the network should also be designed for such speeds. In conjunction with the EFB-Electronics data socket and the EFB-Electronics patch panel, you can achieve optimal performance from the Cat.8 network cable. Cat.8.1 patch cables are ideal for switch-to-switch communication in data centers and server rooms. The super-fast Cat.8 network cables are also used in professional networking and media technology. Each twisted pair in Cat.8 network cables is surrounded by a foil to virtually eliminate crosstalk and enable higher data transmission speeds. The halogen-free outer sheath of the LAN cable provides additional safety. In the Cat.8.1 version, the cable features a high-quality, shielded RJ45 connector with gold-plated contacts. Its bend and strain relief allows for a high number of plug cycles. Cat.8 network cables support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology for transmitting power and data over a single cable. By reducing or eliminating the need for power cables, Cat.8 patch cables can save a lot of space in crowded server rooms.
