The BMT-(F)-RTR is a compact router for bidirectional data exchange between BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP fieldbus devices. It can be connected to METZ CONNECT BACnet MS/TP devices via two 4-pole terminal blocks on the front of the device and a bridge connector. An integrated web server is used for parameterization, management, and monitoring of the two interfaces (Ethernet / RS485). The web interface is also utilized for firmware updates. The BMT-(F)-RTR is suitable for decentralized mounting in electrical sub-distributors or in cabinets on TH35 mounting rails according to IEC 60715. It features connections with spring-loaded terminals (Push-In), access to 32 devices on the BACnet MS/TP bus, bidirectional data exchange between BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP devices, protocols: BACnet MS/TP, BACnet/IP, BACnet Ethernet, HTTP 1.0, an integrated web server, intuitive and software-independent configuration via the web interface, recording and analysis of IP and RS485 communication, easy device search for METZ CONNECT BACnet MS/TP devices on the RS485 bus, and quick connection of METZ CONNECT BACnet MS/TP devices using proven bridge connector technology.
