The OpDAT from Metz Connect is a compact and versatile fiber optic connection unit designed for mounting in flush or hollow wall boxes, as well as for surface or rail mounting. It allows for the connection of pre-terminated installation cables and offers the option to integrate pigtails via a swiveling and removable splice cassette. This splice cassette can accommodate up to eight crimp splice protectors, ensuring flexible handling. Cable entries are available on all four sides and at the back, facilitating easy installation. The unused knockouts are sealed with blind plugs to ensure clean and safe usage. The cover is removable without tools, making access to the connections easier. The OpDAT is finished in pure white (RAL 9010) and provides a service-friendly solution for modern fiber optic installations.
