The Fast Ethernet Switch from Microsens offers a reliable solution for media conversion and speed adaptation in networks. With the ability to directly connect devices of different transmission speeds, such as Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, to central GBE switches, this device ensures flexible integration into existing infrastructures. The pluggable dual-speed transceiver slot allows for the connection of fiber optic transceivers suitable for both multimode and single-mode fiber runs. Optionally, PoE-capable Gigabit Ethernet bridging converters are available, enabling direct power supply to devices according to IEEE 802.3at with up to 30 W. The devices are ready to use immediately and require no additional configuration. Additionally, the switch provides monitoring of the supply voltage via a relay contact, ensuring extra safety.
