Either way, the ceiling is the answer! The cAP XL ac itself is quite sleek – its low profile draws less attention than a smoke detector. Your customers, guests, or colleagues won’t even notice it. But they will definitely notice the lightning-fast Wi-Fi connection throughout the building.

The new design features a larger high-gain antenna, higher sensitivity, and an integrated reflector. These improvements allow for an increase in coverage area of up to 100% compared to previous cAP models!

The dual-band, dual-chain 2.4 and 5 GHz radio provides strong 360-degree coverage, so you don’t have to worry as much about the placement of the device. Mounting it on the ceiling eliminates many issues with signal absorption, such as signals being blocked by large TVs, metal walls in open offices, etc.

Even though the radio supports repeater mode, the two Gigabit Ethernet ports give you the option to expand your network with cables, even when PoE power is needed: The cAP XL ac supports 802.3af/at PoE input on the first port and passive PoE output (up to 57 V) on the second port.
