TG-BT5-OUT - Outdoor Bluetooth Tag for KNOT

This version of MikroTik's BLE tags is fully sealed and designed for industrial use, ensuring a robust IP69k protection class. In other words, this tag is dustproof—nothing can penetrate it—and it is completely protected against pressure and splashes from close range. Perfect for industrial telemetry systems or for tracking all types of heavy equipment and materials on a construction site.

Like the indoor version, this tag also supports iBeacon, Eddystone, and MikroTik telemetry formats. It features an NFC-encoded MAC address and optional encryption. Unlike the indoor version, the outdoor tag includes a built-in temperature sensor that can be used for condition monitoring. The accuracy of ±0.5 °C can be very useful in the cold logistics of supply chains.

The TG-BT5-OUT is equipped with an enhanced 550 mAh battery, which lasts about five years (with a transmission interval of 1 second). It can be attached to all types of surfaces and withstands a temperature range of -20 °C to 85 °C.
