With the PoE timer, you can turn the PoE ports on and off according to a schedule or remotely. Performance and security. The switch protects the network against DoS attacks (Denial of Service) and prevents network loops. Port aggregation with LACP provides redundancy at the connection level, and link aggregation increases throughput. Protected ports also ensure that no unicast, broadcast, or multicast traffic occurs. Power over Ethernet (PoE). With Power over Ethernet, you can supply compatible devices with power via the network cable. This significantly reduces cabling efforts for devices like wireless access points, IP phones, and IP cameras, while also allowing for high flexibility in device placement. 802.3at PoE. The IEEE 802.3at standard provides a maximum of 25.4 watts of power per PoE port with a voltage of up to 50 volts. The standard assumes that after line losses, 21.90 watts of usable power remain or may be drawn to avoid exceeding the maximum power output. For PoE, a Cat5e/6 cable with a maximum length of 100 m is recommended.
