The belt drive ensures good running characteristics thanks to the mechanically decoupled connection between the motor and the turntable. The connection via rubber belts minimizes unwanted vibrations and other noise disturbances, providing smooth operation and thus optimal sound quality when playing your favorite records. The turntable features various adjustable speeds, indicated in revolutions per minute (rpm). For 12" LPs, select 33 1/3 rpm, while for smaller singles and EPs, set it to 45 rpm. 78 rpm is only needed for very old shellac records, which are hardly relevant today.
