The Pro-Ject T2 extends the formula of the popular T1 model and brings improvements in sound quality and construction: a special standard for record players at audiophile level is here. The T2 is based on a larger, CNC-machined chassis made of high-quality materials, completely without plastic parts. The technically precise design ensures a robust structure that effectively eliminates unwanted vibrations and resonances. The glass platter is thicker and heavier for more stable speed and higher quality reproduction. The 9-inch aluminium tonearm is equipped with modern, low-friction precision bearings designed with a greater length and diameter in mind. The cherry on the cake is the factory fitted and adjusted Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge with elliptical stylus: such a high quality cartridge in combination with an excellent phono preamplifier ensures a pleasant reproduction of vinyl records. As usual, an electronically controlled, high-precision AC motor, gold-plated RCA connections and a specially developed and efficiently shielded Pro-Ject Connect It E turntable cable are included.
