The ProXtend CAT6 U/UTP CU Ethernet cables are made from 99.9% pure copper wire with an AWG of 24 to ensure the best possible performance. The outer jacket of the cable is made from LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), which ensures low smoke, toxic fumes, and no acid gases in the event of a fire. The cable is reinforced with strain relief to increase durability and features a snagless locking mechanism that allows for secure installation. The 50µ gold-plated connector offers greater durability and a higher transmission rate. A 50µ gold connector can deliver up to 4 times more throughput than a conventional metal connector. 50µ is the thickest and optimal gold plating available.
