The APC 1500 is unfortunately a faulty design. I've already had to retire my first device because it accidentally hung up and stopped supplying power to important devices such as servers and routers. In 365 days without this device, I had 0 power interruptions - the Swiss power grid is extremely stable, which is why a UPS is superfluous here. Today, I will finally retire this device and not replace it. No recommendation to buy!

Are you kidding me ? This UPS costs since some time constantly 436 and now I get a mail, my watch list has become cheaper: -22% , now 436 instead of 564 ? It's still at 436, but I'm sure it will be advertised as this promotion in the next few hours.

Hello each other Can I operate the UPS on a connection with a 6A fuse? However, 2 other PCs and several other small devices are connected to this fuse. The description says 10A input current. But I don't know if it really needs 10A when charging, because then my fuse would melt. Thanks for the help

Finally, the BR15000GI delivers around 850W, which is about the end of the line. So primary 6A should be enough.

I wanted to monitor a PC with a Thermatake RGB Plus 1200 Watt with this APC. Unfortunately, the power supply unit switches on and then immediately off again, which continues until I connect the power supply. I know that only a maximum of 865 watts is possible, but only 200 watts are available. The question now is whether too much is being drawn from the power supply at the moment when the unit starts up. I have disconnected all the consumers from the power supply. Nevertheless this behaviour. I would be grateful for an answer.

First a few questions: 1. do you live in a house where older cables are still installed? It could be that the initial very high current peak leads to the mains being overloaded and the unit automatically switches off for safety reasons. Have you monitored the consumption with a voltmeter?
