I would like to protect a small rack cabinet (12U) from power interruptions and fluctuations. The following devices are running in it: - Rackfans, which have not yet been used (cabinet door still open, not everything in operation yet) - Ubiquiti UDMpro - Ubiquiti USW-PRO-24-POE - Connected to PoE ports on the switch (2x Yealink desk phone, 1x Yealink W75, UAP-ACpro, UAP-FlexHD) - QNAP TS-453D with 4x8TB WD red plus - HFC modem Sunrise (CB3) - KVM switch from AV Access - Mini PC Leonvo TC M75q which serves as a server Currently under normal load I measure a total of approx. 130 - 150 watts with a meter. As the server and the QNAP are not yet running (but were switched on for the measurement), I don't know whether the consumption will be much higher under operation and higher load. I therefore thought that I would use this UPS with 720 W. I have enough reserve. Is the BR1200SI a good choice for my case, or do you recommend a different device? In general, is a line-interactive UPS sufficient in my case or would an online UPS be better. As the rack in the office room is mounted on the wall and the UPS would be placed on a piece of furniture outside the rack underneath, the quietest possible operation would be ideal. That's why I didn't want an online UPS. However, it is important that all devices continue to run and shut down if necessary. Thank you for your valued opinion.

On the BRI 1200 I have a computer + 2 screens 40 and 30", which gives me a load of about 165Watt with a displayed autonomy of 32 minutes. If you want longer autonomy, there's a UPS model, the ASI BR1500GI 1500 VA / 865 W, which allows you to connect an external ASI BR24BPG battery. I've got this for my network cabinet with POE48 switch, NAS and router, and it gives me over 2 hours of autonomy. For the additional battery, you have to change the whole block when you replace the batteries, it's not like the UPS. The rack consumes just over 200W before the UPS. The UPS is placed outside the rack.
