We have a few of these APC BX2200MI, on two models the green LEDs on the front of the unit flash after a while when it is switched on, but WITHOUT making a sound. Does anyone know what this means? When I switch the APC off and on again, the flashing stops. I can't find any information on this in the instructions (only available with alarm sound info). Thank you!

I had the same problem. There may be two reasons. The first is that the built-in battery is at the end. The second reason could be an overload. You can read out the status via the USB interface.

can you replace the battery in this usv or do you have to buy a new one after the battery is empty?

The battery in this UPS can be replaced, it is not necessary to buy the entire UPS again if the battery is empty. There are special replacement batteries and instructions for replacing the battery in this model.

Hi, What is the difference between this and the Back-UPS Pro line? I think the design is nicer and I don't need a display, are there any technical differences? Anyone already using it?
