Apple Pencil (1st generation)
Apple Pencil (1st generation)
This pencil works with the pre-2018 iPad Pro models, not the regular iPads and not current generation iPad Pro
Hello Daniel I didn't find the adapter on the Apple website, but you can charge the Penci directly on the iPad without an adapter. Greetings Chris
According to the Apple site where you can look, it is not compatible. LG
Two, Pen 1 and Pen 2.
Only the iPad mini 5th generation supports the Apple Pencil 1st gen. The iPad mini 6 because Apple Pencil 2nd Gen.
With each iPad, you have to read up on which pens work with it. And I can only recommend the combination of Apple Pen with Apple iPad. It's a well-rounded solution. You can find an overview (a little further down) here: https://www.apple.com/de/apple-pencil/
Yes, we are very happy with it.
Update: Writing in OneNote now works (settings were wrong).
No, unfortunately you keep smearing the ink....
I quote here an answer from the official Apple website: "Does the Apple Pencil work on the IPad 9.7 2017?" "No, use only works on the Pro series IPads, as well as the 2018 IPad." https://www.apple.com/ch-de/shop/question/answers/product/MK0C2ZM/A/funktioniert-der-apple-pencil-auf-dem-ipad-97-2017/QYTD9PHT97TP9XAKH As it stands, the Apple Pencil does not work with the "normal" 2017 IPads. If you have an IPad Pro it should basically work. Hope I could help you!
unfortunately no: Suitable model iPad Pro 9.7, iPad Pro 12.9, iPad Pro 10.5, iPad 2018, iPad mini (2019), iPad Air (2019), iPad (2019)
no, only from ipad 6th gen. Still a great iPad though. I have one with ios 13 and it runs like a charm. Catalina's sidecar mode (ipad as mac's second screen) won't work either, only those ipads with apple pencil support will work with sidecar :-(
no - only from ipad 6th gen.
No
No, it does not.
As far as I know, no Macbook has a touchscreen, so the stylus does not work...
This is the 1st generation Pencil, which has a Lightning connector and according to the manufacturer site, is not compatible with the new iPad Pro. You find the 2nd generation Pencil here, which by the way charges wirelessly directly from your iPad and has no additional connector: Apple Pencil (2. Generation)
No unfortunately not
No. The Apple Pencil does not work with the iPad Air 2. It only works with the iPad Pro range and the 6th generation iPad.
It does not work in calendar or HD weekcal. It can be used as a stylus, but does not handle handwritten input. There may be a calendar app that manages this, but I don't know of one.
Yes.

Hello Burgi85, there are replacements in the accessories trade (e.g. apple box), but they are cables.
