Uhhh, so.... Plug in the supplied USB uplink cable (which you then also connect to the USB hub on the screen if you are using this). Download the firmware updater from the Asus support site. Run it. Be patient for about 5 minutes. Tadaaaaa, the latest firmware has been installed.

This monitor does not support G-Sync unfortunately I fell into the trap of believing that it is at least compatible but no, on the official Nvidia site https://www.nvidia.com/en-us... it says that this monitor will only get the update for G-Sync sometime in the future. Everything else about it working is a lie. I've been waiting a year for the update...

Unfortunately, due to the novelty of Oled monitors, there is no real empirical data yet. As far as I have understood from various tests and analyses (RTings, Monitors Unboxed), the use of desktop apps (no matter which ones) for several hours a day would practically guarantee burn-in shadows in the display after 2-3 years. If you take good care of the monitor otherwise (run Pixel Refresh when it reports it etc.), then I could imagine that you will only see it at all with light backgrounds and perhaps it will only appear after 4 years. However, burn-in is practically guaranteed sooner or later with this type of use. That's why my Asus PG27AQDM is reserved purely for gaming and watching videos and is otherwise always completely black. This way, I hope to be able to use it for many years with consistent quality. And the quality is really impressive. Even RDR2 in the snow area looks incredibly good (although it dims down a bit there, but that's hardly noticeable) For gaming AND programming or any form of desktop use, I would recommend a good mini LED monitor like the Cooler Master GP27 or the Samsung Neo G7.

There are no speakers built into this monitor. In this price category, I would recommend buying/using separate speakers or a suitable gamer headset anyway. In my experience, the built-in speakers on televisions, for example, also offer very little quality!

Not the best choice for the PS5. In terms of refresh rate overkill for the PS5 (PS only has 120 herz max.) and in terms of resolution 4k is preferable for the PS5.

never had a G7 but an acer VA panel, OLED is unbeatable to watch movies or tv shows, the black is unbeatable too, the motion in fast games was way better on oled too, this is currently the ultimate monitor you can buy I cannot tell you about HDR because I never had an HDR VA monitor and I dislike it as it messes with my own color tuning so I never use it I have to point something tough I can have 240fps 1440p is not cheap to run, I mean temperature wise not only from the monitor but the PC too it's something reviews don't talk about but very noticeable when like me you go from 120Hz 1080p to 240Hz 1440p your cpu and gpu are going to sweat and you too

Hi, I'd wondered about that, but on a 27 shoot you won't see the difference between a 2k and a 4k. In fact, it's completely useless (all the explanations on this subject are on the web).

Any news on the delivery date yet? 😊

There is no fixed date yet, as the number of pre-orders always exceeds the number of monitors delivered. Customers see their personal delivery date in the order.
