AVM FRITZ!repeater 2400 WLAN mesh

...adapter, is from Germany without CH plug.
Yes! No problem
According to the manufacturer, the country-specific products have the appropriate adapters and cables for the corresponding target country. Furthermore, modems etc. can have the corresponding provider data stored. In this case, I could not find any difference.
According to the reference they are the same only the supplier change. And both can work in Switzerland.

Hello, unfortunately I can't say anything about this because I bought this repeater from AVM to achieve better WLAN coverage = field strength with the Fritz Box 7490. This would not have been necessary if the Fritz-Box would have provided a better signal with external antennas as before. That the internal patch antennas are not the last word for cost reasons can be seen in the 6890, which again uses external antennas. It is just a bit more expensive. I don't need the repeater here any more. Greetings
I can't say whether it works exactly with this box. But take a look here: https://ch.avm.de/service/fritzwlan/fritzrepeater-2400/wissensdatenbank/publication/show/3487_FRITZ-Repeater-mit-Router-eines-anderen-Herstellers-verbinden/
Have had the repeater for some time and it does what it is supposed to. I wasn't interested in the difference and don't know.
Yes, very good
Doesn't mean anything to me. Unfortunately, I don't know the UPC Gigabox at all, I have a Fritzbox that sends WiFi signals itself. So I would certainly buy the newer model, i.e. 2400. I am also fully convinced after a few months for my case.
I use it as a repeater with the latest swisscom box for my desktop PC, latop, and natel located on the floor, where I can't get a wired connection. Works perfectly!
I think you are right. The 6 AP/Repeater products at digitec with 802.11ax are all well over CHF 200. I assume this will go on for a while for < CHF 100.
Once again: The Schuko holder is only plugged on. You can pull off the plastic part, then you have an ordinary Euro plug that fits into any T13.
