I want to send the sound from the Apple TV 4K to my stereo system wirelessly. Belkin Soundform Connect to the stereo and go?

Streaming from the Apple TV to the Belkin basically works without any problems. However, there are 2 things to note: - Multiroom streaming with the Spotify app does not work (Spotify on the Apple TV can currently only do AirPlay 1, so either only Belkin or only Apple TV, but not HDMI + AirPlay at the same time, for example). - The setup requires an iPhone/iPad. There is no other way, as the Soundform must be installed via the HomeKit function. Otherwise you can't even get it into the Wi-Fi network.

Does anyone have any information on the power requirements? Is a "normal" USB connection with 500mA or 1A sufficient to connect it to the back of certain receivers, for example, and thus operate it without a separate power supply unit?

This should work, because the power supply unit supplied does not deliver more either.

I don't understand the setup exactly. The connection to the stereo is clear to me, but: - How does the unit connect to the LAN/WLAN? I don't see any Ethernet. Do I have to configure the WLAN via USB-C and an installer cable? Or am I completely misunderstanding this? - How is the power supply? (My goal / idea: I hook the Belkin thing up to the input of my stereo system (mini-jack or optical audio out) and specify the Belkin part as the sound destination on my iPhone or Mac. Am I understanding the functionality completely wrong?)

Hello Stefabehev, The initial connection with the home network and the Belkin must be made via the smartphone (using the Belkin app or Apple Home). The whole thing is explained very simply in the operating instructions. After that, you can use the device as you described. PS: I bought my father a device like this and he was able to install it himself without any problems.
